From Book Week to Science Week – What a Fortnight!
It has been an exciting and full fortnight at 91ɫ!
Year 12 Camp
Our Year 12 students have ventured off to camp this week—an important time for connection, reflection, and preparing for their final term as leaders of our College community. Please keep them in your prayers for safety, growth, and plenty of memorable moments together.
Book Week Celebrations
Book Week is always a highlight across our Colleges. Eaton, Primary, and ELC students embraced the joy of reading through special activities and the much-loved book parades. It is wonderful to see such creativity and enthusiasm for literature! Well done also to our teaching team who once again went above and beyond with their creative and often astounding character outfits!
Wellbeing Week
Last week we enjoyed Wellbeing Week, led by our incredible College Student Leadership Team. Students participated in a variety of activities designed to encourage connection, gratitude, and joy—including the special highlight of gathering together for Prayer on the Lawn. It was a powerful reminder of the importance of caring for our hearts, minds, and spirits as a community.
Science Week
Our Secondary students have been diving into all things Science with engaging experiments, activities, and learning experiences as part of Science Week. Thank you to our teaching team for making this such a dynamic and inspiring time of discovery.
Digital Wellbeing – Device Restrictions
As communicated to parents earlier, we are introducing new restrictions on College-owned devices to ensure safe and productive use of technology. These changes are part of our ongoing commitment to fostering a focused and healthy digital environment for all students.
Updated handbooks: Parent Code of Conduct
The College executive team have been working on updates to our College handbooks to include our revised Parent Code of Conduct (see attached to this news item). This reflects our shared commitment to a positive and respectful partnership between home and school, supporting the flourishing of every student in our care. If you would like to see the full policy, please contact your relevant administration office for assistance.
Thank you for your continued partnership as we work together to provide a safe, supportive, and vibrant learning community.
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.”
Colossians 3:23
